A Wacker plate compactor features a computer designed baseplate that has a tapered bottom and edges for high speed and excellent maneuverability. A Wacker vibratory plate is designed for the compaction of granular and mixed materials with some cohesive content in confined areas such as parking lots, highway and bridge construction, next to structures, curbs and abutments. A Wacker WP1550 or WP1540 asphalt plate compactor features a tough, wear resistant, ductile iron baseplate offering high strength and shock resistance. A Wacker WP1550 vibratory plate compactor has many lifting points and front lift cage offer easier loading and unloading for operator convenience. Wacker premium asphalt plate tampers feature a large capacity water tank located within the front lift cage for protection. A large water filter located inside of the water tank prevents clogging during operation and can easily be removed for cleaning and draining.
